After my last outburst of frustration, peace resumed and time just passed by so quickly. As summer approaches, the day lengthens and the sky does not turn completely dark until 9 plus every night, and I think somehow this has a positive effect on me.
I caught a film a couple of days ago. It's called "The Holiday" starring Jude Law, Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet. It's a romance comedy with a happy ending, obviously. I recommend it because:
1) Jude Law is super handsome;
2) Cameron Diaz's outfits are very nice and sexy;
3) it has a happy ending and the light-hearted humour may be what you need after a stressful week.
It should be out on DVD now. If you have not watched it, please do me a favour and go and buy/rent/download it to watch for the weekend.
We have a public holiday tomorrow and Spiderman 3 has its premier today! I am so looking forward to watching my favourite superhero going into action again.
In conclusion, I want to thank all my friends, who after read my blog, called or emailed to comfort me. You guys are really wonderful. However I'm okay now and I may have a piece of good news to share in a couple of weeks time. Look out for it!

Glad that you are back to your cheerful self again. Not to worry. Time will fly and soon you will be back to the warm Singapore again.....
Can you read chinese novels? i hv a few Jing Yong novels like Tian Long Ba Bu and She Diao Ying Xiong Zhuan.... They are in simplified chinese characters. Each story have 4-5 books (volumns) which I believe can help u kill time. They are quite easy to read since u know how to read the simplified chinese characters. I can send them over to you.

Thanks for the suggestion but you don't have to send the books to me because I may be planning a trip back soon. Anyway, I'm not sure if I will like reading them although if they are "Her World", then it's another story because I can't seem to find any good and cheap English magazines over here. :-)
